FLOATING NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

Up to 1 gigawatt of clean power. Anywhere on water.

Dual-generation design: 180 MWe MDO gen sets and up to four 250 MWe SMRs. Engineered for sixty years of service.

FNPP is built on the Sea Technology Floating Terminal foundation.

Modular floating power. Engineered for the grid or the open sea.

The Floating Nuclear Power Plant is a self-contained generation platform built on Sea Technology's floating terminal foundation. It delivers up to 1 GW of clean electrical power and can be sited offshore, in protected waters, or alongside coastal infrastructure.

The dual-generation design pairs 180 MWe MDO gen sets for backup and redundancy with up to four 250 MWe small modular reactors for primary output. The platform is towed into position and anchored, with no land permits and no grid build-out at the site.

PLATFORM SPECIFICATIONS

Built for sixty years of service

Dimensions

Length/beam: 400/200. Depth/Draft: 30/20-25.

Displacement

At operational draft: 1.6 million m³

Power output

Up to 1 GW (four 250 MWe SMRs).

Backup generation

180 MWe MDO gen sets.

Anchoring

24-point mooring system.

Asset life

60 years engineered service.

SAFETY BY DESIGN

Resilient against the threats land plants cannot escape

Earthquake-resistant

Floating structure decouples from seismic ground motion. Reactor systems remain in defined attitude during seabed events.

Tsunami-survivable

Open-water siting and depth flexibility. The platform rides wave events that overwhelm coastal facilities.

Hardened against external threats

Hull design and 24-point anchoring. Resistant to piracy, collision, and sabotage attempts.
